Treasure Hunt, Akala Style! (Japanese: お宝発見！ムーランドサーチ！！ Treasure Found! Mooland Search!!) is the 32nd episode of the Sun & Moon series, and the 971st episode of the Pokémon anime. It first aired in Japan on June 29, 2017 and in the United States on September 23, 2017.
Blurb
The students of the Pokémon School have finally arrived on Akala Island, and they’ve been given their first assignment: form a bond with a Stoutland to use as a Ride Pokémon. They’re going on a treasure hunt with the help of their Stoutland’s sensitive sniffers! Who will find the most impressive treasure? There can be only one winner!

For the first class on Akala, Ash and his friends are paired with a bunch of Stoutland for a treasure hunt. Lillie and Lana struggle with their partners. For the first round, Ash finds 3 shards, Mallow finds 3 mushrooms, Kiawe finds a Cranidos fossil, Lana and Sophocles find nothing and Lillie is still trying to get used to Stoutland. On the second round Ash finds a yellow shard and mistakes an Alola Geodude for a fossil. Lana runs into a garbodor but Stoutland saves them. Mallow finds a large Lansat Berry. Sophocles finds a Star Piece with the help of technology. Kiawe finds an Archen fossil and Lillie manages to get up on Stoutland. Lana finds Z-ring ore which got turned into a Z-ring for Lana, she had 500 points, which makes her the winner.
