Poppy (Japanese: ポピー Poppy) is a member of the Elite Four of the Paldea region. She specializes in Steel-type Pokémon.

In the core series games

Poppy is first introduced to the player by Rika after they have won seven Gym Badges. Although she is far younger than the rest of the Elite Four, as well as Paldea's Gym Leaders, Poppy is considered one of the strongest Pokémon Trainers in the region. She is normally sweet and good-natured, but becomes competitive during battles; because of her age, she refers to her Pokémon with childlike nicknames. After the player becomes a Champion, Poppy watches their battle against Nemona in Mesagoza.

The Indigo Disk

When talking with Geeta in the League Club Room, she reveals that she's trying to draw a picture of Poppy, which is a nod to Geeta's settei.[2]

Pokémon

Poppy will Terastallize her Tinkaton at the first opportunity.
