Kiawe's Marowak (Japanese: カキ|のガラガラ Kaki's Garagara) is Kiawe's third caught Pokémon.

History

Kiawe first met Marowak in SM034 when it stole the treasured Wela Crown from Wela Volcano Park. It beat Kiawe's Turtonator during its initial battle, but when Kiawe challenged it to a rematch the next day, it lost when Turtonator learned Shell Smash. Marowak then chose to join Kiawe's team.

In the Pokémon Adventures manga

Marowak is Kiawe's only known Pokémon and first appeared in the Sun & Moon arc. It was used to battle Sun's Dollar at Heahea City. Marowak attacks with Flame Wheel and the flame begins chasing Dollar, leaving it wide open to Shadow Bone. Deciding to ignore the flames to focus on the bone Dollar counters with Feint Attack. The battle is then called off as Kiawe makes a phone call, but Sun and Kiawe agree that Dollar would have won after using Assurance.
