Gulp Missile (Ability)

Gulp Missile (Japanese: うのミサイル Gulp Missile) is an Ability introduced in Generation VIII. It is the signature Ability of Cramorant.

Effect

In battle

After Cramorant uses Surf or Dive, if its HP is over half, it catches an Arrokuda and changes into its Gulping Form. If its HP is under half, it instead catches a Pikachu and changes into its Gorging Form. If it is hit by an attack while in either forms, Cramorant spits out its catch at the attacker, dealing damage equal to ¼ of the attacker's maximum HP.

If Cramorant is hit in its Gulping Form, Gulp Missile additionally lowers the attacker's Defense stat by one stage. If Cramorant is hit in its Gorging Form, Gulp Missile instead additionally paralyzes the attacker.
