Dragon Rage (Japanese: りゅうのいぶき Dragon Rage) is a Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation I that deals 40 HP worth of damage no matter what.
Effect
Unless it misses, Dragon Rage will always do 40 points of damage to the opponent, regardless of type.
It also has a chance of blocking the stricken Pokémon from doing anything the next turn.
In the anime
Pokémon
Gyarados. Gyarados sends a swirling twister of energy towards the opponent.
- Used by James' Gyarados in Pokémon Shipwreck.
Arcanine. Arcanine throws back its head and howls to lauch a swirling twister of energy.
- Used by Pete Pebbleman's Arcanine in Fire and Ice.
