Dancer (Japanese: おどりこ Dancer) is an Ability introduced in Generation VII. It is the signature Ability of Oricorio.

Effect

In battle

When another Pokémon uses a dancing move, a Pokémon with the Ability Dancer will immediately use that move as well without using up its turn. It will not activate on a move copied by another Pokémon with Dancer.

Lunar Dance is copied after the original user fainted. A copied Petal Dance will last a single turn. If the user is under the effect of Taunt, it will still try to copy a status dancing move but will fail. A Pokémon that is locked into a move such as Outrage will still try to copy the move but will fail.
