Confuse Ray (move)

Confuse Ray (Japanese: あやしいひかり Doubtful Light) is a non-damaging Ghost-type move introduced in Generation I.

Effect

Confuse Ray causes the opponent to become confused. Confuse Ray will fail if the opponent has a Substitute or is already confused.

Pokémon

Spoink. The ray is created in the pearl of its head after it glows with the same colors.

• Used by Spoink in Pearls are a Spoink's Best Friend.

Bronzor. Its eyes glow and a purple and white ray is blasted onto the target.

• Used by Saturn's Bronzor in Journey to the Unknown!.
