Clubsplosion
The Clubsplosion (Japanese: ドンナマイト Donamite) is a tournament in the anime that is held in Ambiga Town. It is hosted by the town's Don George and Freddy O'Martian, and it took place between The Clubsplosion Begins! and Commanding the Clubsplosion Crown!. It is similar to the Club Battle held in Nimbasa Town only it focuses more on hand-to-hand combat. It is also a tournament meant for Fighting-type Pokémon; however, Pokémon of all types are allowed to participate. The winner will receive a year's supply of Vitamins.
Montgomery was the winner of the previous year's Clubsplosion but lost his championship title to Stephan in Commanding the Clubsplosion Crown!.

The Clubsplosion is a 16-competitor tournament consisting of four rounds, and entrants are allowed one Pokémon each. All rounds consisted of 1 on 1 battles against randomly matched up Trainers by a computer.
