Celadon Condominiums (Japanese: タマムシマンション Tamamushi Mansion), known as Celadon Mansion until Generation IV, is a large building found in Celadon City. It is here that players of both the Generation I games and their Generation III remakes can find an Eevee, and where players of the Generation II games can find TM03 (Curse) at night.

It is also the home of the Game Freak development studio, where the lead developer will give the player a diploma that signifies that they have completed the National Pokédex.

Celadon Condominiums play a more vital role in FireRed and LeafGreen Versions. The player must enter the building, where, on the first floor, he/she will encounter an old woman. The old woman will give the player Tea, which he/she must use to enter Saffron City. Also, if the player is pursuing the Fame Checker sidequest, the second floor proves useful as well, providing information about Erika.

Going into the Condominiums from the back not only leads the player to Eevee, but to the Know-It-All as well; this NPC provides the player with standard information concerning status changes if the player reads the blackboard.

In HeartGold and SoulSilver, the key item GB Sounds can be obtained from here, after getting all 16 badges. The building was apparently renovated, with the backdoors having been wiped out and a new system of two elevators, which take player to different places of the building, was added.

Trivia

  • In Generation IV, the man that gives the player the Spell Tag implies that riding north on Cycling Road will reduce the player's speed. However, there is no longer a speed decrease in Generation IV.
  • The name change never happened in Japanese versions, where the building is still known as Tamamushi Mansion by all generations.
    • However, マンション Mansion is a loanword that refers to condominiums, not a mansion, thus the translation was corrected in Generation IV.
