A Contest Pass is a key item used to participate in the Pokémon Contests. This item can be found in Verdanturf Town. In Pokémon Emerald, a Contest Pass is not needed; instead, only the Pokéblock case is required. While in the Generation IV games, all that is required is something formal to wear. However, a player can hack the game and obtain a Contest Pass, which is available in the coding.
