Chalce (Japanese: アゲート Agate) is one of the admins of the Explorers, and a recurring major antagonist in Pokémon Horizons: The Series.
History
Chalce first appeared as a hologram in The Ancient Poké Ball, alongside the other Explorers's admins. The first time she spoke and was seen clearly was in Quaxly, We Can Do It, questioning Spinel about his last failure.
She made her physical debut in HZ027. She and the other admins joined in a meeting to discuss the Explorers' next objective. Eventually, they decided to go after the Black Rayquaza. Despite remaining quiet for practically the entire meeting, she questioned Spinel about what he actually had in mind during his participation in the meeting.
In HZ034, Agate was monitoring Amethio's training with Hamber with Spinel, soon after they decided to focus on their main objective, which is finding Black Rayquaza.
In HZ044, Chalce, Coral, and Sidian summoned the Black Rayquaza near Levincia by using a machine that generated an energy similar to that Terapagos emitted previously and had their Pokémon battle against the Sky High Pokémon. They started strong, unleashing powerful super effective moves, but lost control over Rayquaza once Dot managed to shut down the machine. Once the tides had turned, Coral let her temper overcome better judgment and commanded her Glalie to use Self-Destruct, which was powerful enough to blast the Legendary Pokémon directly into the hull of the Brave Olivine.
Character
Chalce appears to have a calm and collected personality, she does however tend to be critical towards her allies if they fail missions, such as with Spinel, as well as having a sarcastic sense of humor.
Pokémon
Similar to her teammates, Chalce's main Pokémon, Medicham, reflects a lot of her own personality.
This listing is of Chalce's known Pokémon in the anime:
On hand
Medicham is Chalce's only known Pokémon. Like its Trainer, Medicham shares a calm and reserved personality. This was seen in HZ027, where Medicham only avoided direct contact with Coral's Glalie.
Medicham's known moves are Psybeam and Zen Headbutt. | ||
