Pixilate (Japanese: フェアリースキン Fairy Skin) is an Ability introduced in Generation VI. In Generation VIII, it is the signature Ability of Sylveon.
Effect
In battle
Generation VI
Pixilate causes all Normal-type moves used by the Pokémon to become Fairy-type and receive a 30% power boost. It overrides Ion Deluge and Electrify.
Generation VII
Affected moves now receive a 20% power boost.
Generation VIII
Pixilate no longer overrides Electrify. If Max Strike is selected with Pixilate, it will turn into Max Starfall when used.
Outside of battle
Pixilate has no effect outside of battle.
