In the anime
Go-Goggles first appeared in JN014. Ash, Goh, Keira, and their Pokémon each wore a pair while traveling through the Desert Resort.
Trivia
- In Pokémon Black and White, a Backpacker references this item, saying he doesn't need them in the Desert Resort. In Generation VII, a Hiker mentions needing them in Haina Desert.
- In Generation III, several NPCs in the desert mention wearing Go-Goggles. This is no longer the case in Generation VI, where the same characters now mention how the sandstorm is hurting their eyes due to their lack of Go-Goggles.
