• The regular opening sequence is replaced with clips from Pokémon the Movie: Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction. Although this is a standard practice with some Japanese shows when a tie-in movie is released, this marks the first time it has occured on Pokémon.
• The next episode preview is narrated by Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie, while Ash only screams and reads the title card and says the "Everyone, get Pokémon!" phrase alone.
  • Unusually, just like in Kindegarten Chaos!, no background music plays during the preview.
