(Japanese: ぼうふう Windstorm) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation V.
Effect
Windstorm deals damage and has a 30% chance of confusing the target. It can't confuse a target that has a Substitute. Windstorm can hit non-adjacent opponents in triple battles.
Windstorm cannot miss when used during heavy rain, but has an accuracy of 50% during intense sunlight. Windstorm can hit a Pokémon during the semi-invulnerable turns of moves such as Fly, Bounce, and Sky Drop.

Trivia
- Both Windstorm and Thunder never miss during heavy rain. This may be a relation to a thunderstorm.
- Erfuun and Ulgamoth are the only non-flying types to learn this move, thus making them the only pokemon to not receive STAB from it.
