(Japanese: ぼうふう Windstorm) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation V. It can be considered a more powerful version of Twister.
Effect
Windstorm deals damage and has a 30% chance of confusing the target. It can't confuse a target that has a Substitute. Windstorm can hit non-adjacent opponents in triple battles.
Windstorm cannot miss when used during heavy rain, but has an accuracy of 50% during intense sunlight. Windstorm can hit a Pokémon during the semi-invulnerable turns of moves such as Fly, Bounce, and Sky Drop.
