Scarlet & Violet: Stellar Guidance is the name given to the special set released in the Asian Scarlet & Violet Era of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. It is a combination of the Japanese Night Wanderer and Stellar Miracle sets, and is exclusively released in Indonesia and Thailand.
Information
Stellar Guidance, known in Indonesian as Bimbingan Rasi (lit. "Constellation Guidance") and in Thai as แสงนำทางแห่งสเตลลาร์ (lit. "Stellar Guiding Light"), is a special set exclusive to Indonesia and Thailand released for the Asian Scarlet & Violet Era of the TCG. It is the fifth such set for the Indonesian market, and the first such set for the Thai market. Compositionally, it combines the Japanese Night Wanderer and Stellar Miracle sets; as such, this set introduces Terastallized Pokémon ex with the Stellar type for the first time in these markets. Each booster pack of Stellar Guidance contains 5 cards.
Stellar Guidance releases in Thailand on August 30, 2024, and in Indonesia on September 20, 2024. The Indonesian release is moved back from the original August 30, 2024 scheduled date, due to a delay in the overseas shipping.[1]
Similar to the release of Black Shine in Indonesia, the release of Stellar Guidance in Thailand marks a change to how Thai Pokémon TCG products are structured and distributed. Beginning with this set, Thai Pokémon TCG sets would comprise more cards and be sold over a longer distribution period. A new logo for Thai Pokémon Trading Card Game products is also introduced, which would be used on Thai TCG products, events, stores, and other related properties from this set's release onward.
Besides being sold in individual boosters and boxes of 30 packs, Stellar Guidance is also available in 2-pack blisters known as "Special Set" (Indonesian: Set Spesial; Thai: สเปเชียลเซ็ต). Special Set blisters are exclusively sold in convenience store chain Indomaret in Indonesia beginning September 20, 2024, and in convenience store chain 7-Eleven in Thailand beginning September 23, 2024. Each Special Set contains a Holo promo card of Rowlet, Scorbunny, or Togedemaru with the Stellar Guidance logo stamped on the bottom right corner of the artwork.
Other products released alongside this set include the Pokémon Horizons: The Series Special Card Set, which includes 10 booster packs of Stellar Guidance and 3 promo cards featuring characters from the Pokémon Horizons: The Series anime; and a Collector's Set (Indonesian: Set Kolektor; Thai: ชุดพิเศษเพื่อนักสะสม) for Stellar Guidance, available for sale at card game stores. Similar to the Traditional Chinese Stellar Miracle Collector's Set, the Indonesian and Thai Stellar Guidance Collector's Set contains 10 booster packs, a card list booklet, and a stamped Full Art promo card of Zeraora.
