The Machine Part (Japanese: きかいのぶひん Machine Part) is a Key Item introduced in Generation II.

Effect
In Pokémon Gold, Silver, Crystal, HeartGold, and SoulSilver, the Machine Part allows the staff of the Power Plant to resume operations, restoring function to the Magnet Train and Lavender Radio Tower. The Power Plant manager will also give the player a TM07 (Zap Cannon)GSC/TM57 (Charge Beam)HGSS as a thanks for returning it.
