Thick Fat (Japanese: あついしぼう Thick Fat) is an Ability introduced in Generation III. Twenty-two Pokémon can have this Ability.
Effect
In battle
Thick Fat gives the user heat and cold protection, therefore halving the damage taken from Ice-type and Fire-type moves.
Outside of battle
Thick Fat has no effect outside of battle.
