Tailwind (Japanese: おいかぜ Tailwind) is a non-damaging Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation IV.
Effect
Tailwind doubles the Speed stat of the user and all other Pokémon in the player's party for three turns.
Generation V
Tailwind now lasts for four turns.

Trivia
- Up until HeartGold and SoulSilver were released, Suicune was the only non-Template:Type2 Pokémon to learn this move. This may have been because it is the embodiment of the North Wind.
