(Changed "???" to "---" get the Gen9 mons' images to show up in the infobox. (Also, a note to all editors — We've been discussing on the Discord: the NatDex numbers for Gen 9 HAVE NOT BEEN CONFIRMED, and we're not including any until they are. We've gotta wait til [pokemon.com / the TCG / Pokémon HOME] updates.)) |

Trivia
- No other Pokémon has the same type combination as Revavroom and its pre-evolved form.
- Revavroom and its pre-evolved form were shown in multiple trailers and gameplay showcases but remained unnamed until the release of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
Origin
Revavroom seems to be based on a multi-cylinder car engine, and the rocks attached to its body make Revavroom resemble an automobile.
Name origin
Revavroom may come from rev (to increase the running speed of an engine by pressing on the accelerator) and vroom (onomatopoetic sound of engine revving up).
Burororōmu may be derived from ぶるん burun (vroom).
