Flareon (Japanese: ブースター Booster) is a Fire-type Pokémon.

Flareon has the highest attack of the Eevee Evolutions.

Flareon's fluffy fur releases heat into the air so that its body does not get excessively hot. Its body temperature can rise to a maximum of 1,650 degrees F.

Name origin

Flareon's name is derived from flare. Eon is Eevee's proto-type name, in which Flareon evolves from. Its Japanese name may refer to rocket boosters, which propel things by combustion of fuel.

It has traits of foxes, dogs, and cats.

Flareon first appeared in EP040 under the ownership of one of the Eevee Bros.

Ash battled against a Flareon in the Pokémon League Entrance Exam in EP056.

Flareon was seen under the ownership on of the Kimono Sisters in EP183 annd EP226.

A Pokémon Co-ordinator that was going to enter the Rustboro City Contest has a Flareon. This appeared in AG077 and AG078.
