An event item is a key item used to get a certain Pokémon or a certain Key item.

Generation II

Pokémon Crystal

  • GS Ball: This item is only legally obtainable in the Japanese version, if the player is inside the Pokémon Communication Center and the Pokémon Mobile System is attached to the game. The player is needed to give it to Kurt, the Apricorn Ball maker in Azalea Town. After he has examined it for a day, he will give it back to player. He then sees that Ilex Forest is restless, so he will ask the player to see what is happening. Inside the forest is a shrine where the GS Ball fits in. When placed, a wild Celebi will appear. In other language versions, the GS Ball is only obtainable by cheating, but still programmed into the game.

Generation III

Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire

  • Eon Ticket: This item can be obtain by a certain event or scan it from a e-Reader and then talk to Norman or mix records whith a person who already have done the former. The player must then go to Lilycove City and attempt to board to S.S. Tidal. Once done this, the Pokémon will be Latios if playing on the Ruby version or Latias if playing on the Sapphire version. The Pokémon will aswell hold the Soul Dew. The island is not reachable after the Pokémon is captured.

Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen

Pokémon Emerald

  • Eon Ticket: This item can be obtain by mix records whith a person who have Ruby or Sapphire and already has it. The player must then go to Lilycove City and attempt to board to S.S. Tidal. Once done this, the Pokémon will be will depend of which colour the player choiced after the Elite Four. The Pokémon will be Latios if the player choosed "Red" or Latias if the player choosed "Blue". The Pokémon will aswell hold the Soul Dew. The island is not rechable after the Pokémon is captured.

Generation IV

Pokémon Diamond and Pearl

  • Member's Card: First of all, the Cresselia event needs to be clear. Then, the player needs to go to the house most southern in the part in Canalave City where the player can travel to Route 218. When the player goes in, a creepy guy awaits and acts like an old woman who lives at the base of Stark Mountain and another one in Hoenn's Route 111. Unlike them, however, he wants the player to sleep. During the sleep, the player dreams away to Newmoon Island and captures Darkrai and will then awake. However, Darkrai will be in the PC or the party afterwards.
