Charge (Japanese: じゅうでん Charge) is a non-damaging Electric-type move introduced in Generation III.
Effect
Generation III
If the user's next move is Electric-type, it will deal twice the usual amount of damage.
Generation IV
The effects of Charge are the same as the previous generation; however, Charge also raises the user's Special Defense by one stage until the end of the turn.
Generation V
Same as the previous generation; the only difference is that the increase in Special Defense by one stage lasts for more than 1 turn.
