Violet's Crocalor (Japanese: バイオレットのアチゲータ Violet's Achigator) was the first Pokémon that Violet obtained at the beginning of his journey. He received him from Director Clavell. He is level 24.
History
Violet received Crocalor as a Fuecoco from Director Clavell after he transferred to Uva Academy. He first appeared in Speeding! Paldea's Prince of Speed!!, where Violet introduced him to Jacq to prove he was a student. During a race against some teachers, Violet had Fuecoco spit flames onto their Cyclizar's seats to overheat them and send them running off the course.
In Discover! The Quaking Earth Titan!!, Fuecoco heated the desert ground to unearth the Titan Pokémon Iron Treads so Violet could battle it. He was quickly defeated by an Earthquake. After losing, Fuecoco grew frustrated and begged Violet to let him train so he could become stronger. Violet decided to test his resolve in a battle against two Team Star Grunt's Gumshoos and Shroodle. Fuecoco struggled to do any lasting damage until Violet had him take a direct hit from both of them, allowing the Fire Croc Pokémon to defeat them with a point-blank Ember.
In Challenge! DJ Giacomo!!, Violet used Feucoco alongside Nymble and Wooper in the Star Barrage against Team Star's Segin Squad's Base. After clearing the trial, Fuecoco was Violet's first pick in his battle against Giacomo's Pawniard. Despite looking tough, his exhaustion kicked in and he was defeated.
In Acquisition! New Ability: Dash!!, Violet used Fuecoco along with his other Pokémon to battle the Titan Klawf. After scaring it off, Violet found the Sweet Herba Mystica and used it to restore some of Miraidon's original strength.
In Evolve! The Second Fire Evolution!!, Fuecoco evolved into a Crocalor after defeating a wild Hoppip with Incinerate.
In Abduction! The Target is Miraidon!!, Crocalor joined the rest of Violet's team in the Star Barrage against Team Star's Schedar Squad's Base. In PASV16, it fought Mela's Schedar Starmobile. After landing a Bite, Crocalor was hit by a multitude of Blazing Torques and unable to counterattack because of Revavroom's Speed Boost Ability. He eventually was able to land a Stomping Tantrum due to Violet pacing out the command in-between attacks, ending the raid in Violet's favor.
In PASV18, Crocalor teamed up with Scarlet, Arven, and Nemona's Pokémon to take down Titan Orthworm. After scaring it off, Violet found the Salty Herba Mystica and used it to restore some of Miraidon's original strength.
In PASV25, Crocalor teamed up with Arven, Kofu, and Saguaro's Pokémon to take down Titan Iron Treads. After defeating it, Violet found the Sour Herba Mystica and used it to restore some of Miraidon's original strength.
Personality and characteristics
While Crocalor is typically portrayed as a happy and carefree Pokémon, his attitude is quick to change when battling. During battle, he becomes proud, determined, and eager. He takes a lot of pride in his strength and can become upset when losing. After being easily defeated by Iron Treads, Feucoco demanded Violet let him train so he could become strong enough to win in a rematch.
