Information
Twilight Masquerade focuses on various Pokémon, characters, and settings from the land of Kitakami , which debuted in The Teal Mask , the first part of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC for the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet video games. The primary focus of the set is Ogerpon , which appears in all of its special Terastallized forms. Other Kitakami Pokémon debuting include the Loyal Three , Bloodmoon Ursaluna , Dipplin , and Sinistcha . Carmine , Kieran , and Perrin appear as Supporter cards . The set also continues to introduce ACE SPEC cards into the format, including one ACE SPEC Special Energy card .
Each form of Ogerpon appears as a Tera Pokémon ex , and players can swap between their various Ogerpon ex using the Ogre's Mask card. Using Teal Mask Ogerpon , players can add Basic Grass Energy to their hand, which can be attached using Teal Mask Ogerpon ex 's Ability to strengthen its own attack as well as Sinistcha 's attack. Additionally, the Pokémon Dipplin , Goldeen , and Swirlix have the Festival Lead Ability, which allows them to attack consecutively while Festival Grounds is in play; this also enables Thwackey to search the deck while one of them is in the Active Spot. Furthermore, Munkidori , Fezandipiti , and Okidogi each have Abilities that trigger while Darkness Energy is attached to them, although none of these cards are Darkness-type.
Twilight Masquerade includes cards from the Japanese Transformation Mask and Crimson Haze expansions. This set contains six ACE SPEC Trainer and Special Energy cards, seven Pokémon ex, seven Tera Pokémon ex, 21 illustration rare Pokémon, 12 ultra rare full-art etched Pokémon ex and Supporter cards, 11 special illustration rare Pokémon and Supporter cards, and six hyper rare gold etched cards. The illustration rare prints of Munkidori , Fezandipiti , and Okidogi from Transformation Mask are excluded from this set and instead appear in Shrouded Fable .
Twilight Masquerade is available in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese.
