Terapagos's Exploration Diary (Japanese: テラパゴスのキラキラ探検記(たんけんき) Terapagos's Brilliant Exploration Diary) is a series of three animated shorts focusing on Terapagos that were shown at the end of episodes in the Japanese version of Pokémon Horizons: The Series, replacing the regular bonus segment Professor Friede's Pokémon Seminar from HZ031 to HZ033, which originally aired from December 1 to December 15, 2023. The shorts were also uploaded separately to the official Japanese Pokémon X (formerly Twitter) account to promote a playlist of episodes featuring Terapagos that were available on the official Japanese Pokémon YouTube channel from December 1 to 15, 2023.

They were subsequently released with Japanese audio and English, Traditional Chinese, and Indonesian subtitles on the official Asian Pokémon YouTube channels on December 25, 2024. The Pokémon Asia ENG uploads additionally include an advertisement for the Stellar Crown TCG expansion and Pokémon Horizons: The Series.

Trivia

  • These segments follow the same style as Pikachu's Vacation or Pikachu & Pichu, where Pikachu and the Pokémon from the main characters are the protagonists and the human characters appear briefly (usually from the back or with their faces not shown in the short).
  • The Pokémon Asia ENG uploads of the shorts mispell the video titles as Terapagos's Exploratoin day Vol. 1,[1] Terapagos's Exploratoin day vol.2,[2] and Terapagos's Exploratoin Diary vol.3.[3] However, the video thumbnail and subtitles spell the title correctly.
