Can this please be separated for Legends Arceus?
I think this should be separated. The Heavy Balls we know before and after are 2 different things, have different effects, and different appearances. It's like a Dark Ball and Dusk Ball (before the latter was localized). I think we should split the page. ¿¡Unowninator?! (talk) 00:07, 30 January 2022 (UTC)
- i think it depends on weather they share the same japanese name or not if they do i don't know if the page should be split if they aren't then it should definitely be split Wild Starfish (talk) 01:02, 30 January 2022 (UTC)
- They do have the same Japanese name, but I think they're different enough that we should treat them as separate items. --SnorlaxMonster 05:55, 30 January 2022 (UTC)
- Is there any difference to Poké Ball, Ultra Ball etc.? If this is about whether "Heavy Ball" should just be a disambiguation basically between "Heavy Ball (before)" and "Heavy Ball (Legends: Arceus)", then IMO it definitely shouldn't, they should both be on one/this page. (If it's about whether "Heavy Ball (Legends: Arceus)" should just be its own page with "Main article" links from here, then I'm unsure.) Nescientist (talk) 15:26, 30 January 2022 (UTC)
- Stardust (GO) has its own page. I can't see why Heavy Ball (Arceus) can't exist. ¿¡Unowninator?! (talk) 19:50, 30 January 2022 (UTC)
- Secret Key (Kanto) and Secret Key (Sinnoh) is another good example... the Legends versions of heavy balls are nothing like the apricorn one.. this page should be moved to Heavy Ball (Johto) if you ask me and the new versions should be made under Heavy Ball (Hisui)4iamking (talk) 12:41, 2 February 2022 (UTC)
- I feel the page's title could remain as it is, while the Legends one gets "Hisui" in its name. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 13:05, 2 February 2022 (UTC)
- that could also be an option, but then I feel like it should be done with every item that has a new index number in Legends(this includes standard pokéballs), since they really aren't the same... it has also been tested that when you inject a Pokémon in a standard Pokeball from legends Arceus to BDSP for example, the Pokémon in BDSP will have the green unknown pokéball since the standard pokéball is unrecognised by the game. 4iamking (talk) 09:44, 3 February 2022 (UTC)
- From L:A to BDSP? How is that possible? ¿¡Unowninator?! (talk) 16:30, 3 February 2022 (UTC)
- Legally it isn't, but it's testable by injecting the hex file from a LA pokemon into BDSP with 3rd party tools. see this tweet for more information, but basically for a Pokémon to have the same ball in BDSP as in LA, the internal code of that Pokémon would need to be changed. 4iamking (talk) 00:34, 4 February 2022 (UTC)
