| m 16:13 | Ogerpon (Pokémon) diffhist −4 Kumori Satosuke talk contribs (Midori is just Green. Turquoise is usually written 青緑色 ( せいりょくしょく Sei-ryoku-shoku = Blue-Green-Color) or as 青緑 ( あおみどり Ao-Midori = Blue-Green), or トルコ石色 (トルコいしいろ Turquoise-Stone-Color). Yes, some other languages like French call this the Turquoise Mask, but Midori alone as a word was invented in Japanese to disambiguate Greens from Blues. If the Japanese name intended Turquoise (or the similar Teal and Cyan), it would have been Ao Mask or Aomidori Mask or whatnot.) | ||||
