Queenly Majesty (Japanese: じょおうのいげん Queen's Majesty) is an Ability introduced in Generation VII. It is the signature Ability of Tsareena.
Description
| Event | Gen VII | Gen VIII | Gen IX |
|---|---|---|---|
| Queenly Majesty activated | "(The wild/The opposing/Totem) <Pokémon> cannot use <move>!" | "(The wild/opposing/<Trainer>'s) <Pokémon> cannot use <move>!" | "(The wild/opposing) <Pokémon> cannot use <move>!" |
Effect
In battle
If an opponent uses a move with increased priority (including moves boosted by Prankster, Gale Wings, or Triage) that targets the Pokémon with Queenly Majesty or its allies, Queenly Majesty prevents the Pokémon from executing that move, after PP is deducted from it. As such, the opponent can only use a move with decreased priority or a move without any to target the Pokémon with Queenly Majesty or its allies.
Moves that target all Pokémon (except Perish Song, Flower Shield, and Rototiller) and moves that target the opponent's side of the field cannot be blocked by Queenly Majesty, even if they become moves with increased priority. Queenly Majesty has no effect on allies' moves with increased priority.
Status Z-Moves with increased priority will have their Z-Power effect activate. For example, if a Pokémon uses Z-Baby-Doll Eyes on a Pokémon under the effect of Queenly Majesty, the user will still gain Defense; it will not lower the target's Attack, however.
Mold Breaker, Turboblaze, and Teravolt will ignore this Ability.
Moves with increased priority that are called using Instruct retain their original priority and are blocked by Queenly Majesty. Moves with decreased priority and moves without any—both which are called using Instruct with increased priority (i.e.: the user with Prankster)—similarly retain their original priority and cannot be blocked.
Moves with increased priority that are called using any moves that call other moves cannot be blocked by Queenly Majesty. If a move that calls other moves is used with increased priority, Queenly Majesty will block the called move regardless of its original priority.
Outside of battle
Queenly Majesty has no effect outside of battle.

Pokémon UNITE
In Pokémon UNITE, Queenly Majesty is Tsareena's Ability. When a hindrance is inflicted on the user; decrease the duration of the effect. Using a boosted attack or move grants 1 stack of Queenly Majesty to the user. After gaining 3 stacks, the Queenly Majesty buff is applied to the user for a short time, which allows one of user's moves to be reused (these uses do not share the same cooldown as the base moves), dealing increased damage and applying an additional effect based on the move used.
