The Pokémon Scarlet ・ Violet + The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Super Music Collection (Japanese: ポケモン スカーレット・バイオレット+ゼロの秘宝 スーパーミュージック・コレクション Pokémon Scarlet ・ Violet + The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Super Music Collection) is the official soundtrack release for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet and The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero.
It was released as a physical album in Japan on February 27th, 2024, available both as a standalone purchase and as part of a bundle with Pokémon Sword - Shield + Expansion Pass Super Music Collection and Pokémon LEGENDS Arceus Super Music Collection.
The soundtrack was released worldwide on October 30, 2024, in the Nintendo Music app. This version has nine fewer tracks, as several jingles are removed.
Tracklist
The soundtrack contains 208 new music tracks from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, including The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC (The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk). All tracks are contained within a six-disc set.
Notable omissions
A small number of tracks are excluded from the official soundtrack despite being in the games themselves. These include the following tracks:
- The jingle that plays when the "A" button is pressed on the title screen.
- The jingle that plays when completing the Olive Roll minigame.
- The end credits theme for the base game, Ed Sheeran's "Celestial".
- The end credits theme for The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero ("Celestial" remix by Toby Fox).
- Various other jingles.
- "Battle & Victory! (Gym Leader)" does not include the segment that only plays during Kofu and Tulip's battle against the player, when they are walking up to their respective battlefields.
- The brief jingle that plays when an Elite Trial at the Blueberry Academy begins.
- "Still at the Gym Test" does not include the phase of the theme that only plays during Lacey's Elite Four trial every time the player answers a question in her quiz correctly.
Possible errors in credits
A small number of tracks are possibly erroneous in terms of composer and arranger credits. These include:
- "Battle! (Titan)" only credits Go Ichinose as a composer and does not credit Toby Fox, despite the latter's "South Province" motif being referenced distinctively in a section of the track.
- "Paradise Protection Protocol Initialized" only credits Hiromitsu Maeba as a composer and does not credit Toby Fox, despite the latter's "South Province" motif being referenced in the second section of the track.
- "Batʇlə! (■■■)" is partially based on Toby Fox's "South Province" motif, while the rest of it appears to largely be an original composition unrelated to any motif that Toby Fox composed for this game, presumably composed by Go Ichinose, the arranger of this theme. However, only Toby Fox is credited for composition in this theme.
- "Pokédex Evaluation... It's Perfect!" incorrectly credits Morikazu Aoki as the composer rather than Minako Adachi. Although Morikazu Aoki did compose many of the Pokédex evaluation jingles for earlier games, the theme that is used in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is based on a Pokédex evaluation jingle that Minako Adachi had composed for Pokémon X and Y, titled "Pokédex Evaluation... It's Complete!" in the Pokémon X & Pokémon Y: Super Music Collection.
- "Welcome to the Terarium!", "Terarium (Savanna Biome)", "Terarium (Coastal Biome)", "Terarium (Canyon Biome)", "Battle! (Terarium Tera Pokémon)", and "Terarium (Polar Biome)" do not credit Toby Fox as a composer despite featuring his "Tera Raid Battle" / "Area Zero" motif.
- "Battle! (Terapagos)" only credits Go Ichinose and Rei Murayama as composers and does not credit Minako Adachi and Toby Fox, despite the track featuring Adachi's "Kieran" motif at the very beginning of the theme and Fox's "Tera Raid Battle" / "Area Zero" motif shortly after.

Trivia
- This Super Music Collection contains the largest number of unique composer / arranger credits out of all Pokémon games. This is due to the sound team consisting of a total of 10 unique composers, Minako Adachi, Go Ichinose, Hiromitsu Maeba, Teruo Taniguchi, Junichi Masuda, Hitomi Sato, Toby Fox, Yuri Habuka, Rei Murayama, and Haruka Soeda. Additionally, Morikazu Aoki and Shota Kageyama are credited as composers for themes that are based on their compositions from older games, which means there are a total of 12 different composers credited for composition in this Super Music Collection.
- This Super Music Collection also contains the largest number of unique composers credited for individual tracks, as multiple themes relating to the Terarium are credited to four composers, those being Gō Ichinose, Junichi Masuda, Hitomi Satō and Shota Kageyama. This is due to the Terarium themes containing motifs that these composers had originally composed for Pokémon Black and White, as well as their sequels.
- The field themes for the South, East, and West Provinces share the same intro in-game, but then transition into unique versions depending on where the player is and whether they are walking or riding on KoraidonS/MiraidonV. However, in the Super Music Collection, only the "default" versions of the riding themes, which play when the player is in a general area within the province (not a specific location like Asado Desert or Tagtree Thicket), include this intro. These are titled "South Province", "East Province", and "West Province" respectively.
- The transition between the intro and the looped section of the track "East Province" is handled differently in the game compared to the Super Music Collection. In the game, there is a slight overlap, where the final cymbal hit from the intro can still be heard just after the main theme begins. However, in the Super Music Collection, the final cymbal hit aligns perfectly with the start of the main theme, creating a smoother transition.
- Something similar is observed with the field themes for Cabo Poco, "Home" and "Cabo Poco". Both these themes share the same intro in-game, however the intro is only concatenated with the "Home" theme in the Super Music Collection. The track named "Cabo Poco" instead begins at the point where the intro would end in-game.
- Toby Fox's contributions to the soundtrack primarily revolve around three motifs he created. The first is the "Academy" motif, which serves as the basis for tracks like "Mesagoza" and "The Academy Ace Tournament". The second is the "South Province" motif, used in various storyline-related tracks, including field and cutscene themes such as "Los Platos" and "Get a Little More Fun Out of this Adventure!". Lastly, the "Area Zero" motif appears in tracks related to the Terastal phenomenon, Area Zero, and Terapagos, such as "Tera Raid Battle" and "Battle! (Zero Lab)".
- There are a few instances in this Super Music Collection where the English translation of a track's Japanese title does not match the official English title in any way. For example, Track 2 on Disc 5 has the Japanese title "こ・う・りゅ・う", which translates to "Ex-c-c-change" in English. However, the official English title for this track is "Carmine & Kieran". Another example can be found in Track 4 on Disc 3, which has the Japanese title "ソウルフルビート!", translating to "Soulful Beat!" in English. The official English title for this track, however, is "MC of RIP".
- The roles of individual sound team members for this soundtrack are notably more defined compared to other Pokémon game soundtracks.
- Minako Adachi was primarily responsible for field themes, their respective field battle themes, themes related to the "Victory Road" storyline, as well as almost the entirety of the music in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, Part 1: The Teal Mask. Her role in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, Part 2: The Indigo Disk primarily centred around developing motifs and themes for the Blueberry Academy, as well as its League Club.
- Gō Ichinose focused mainly on themes related to the "Path of Legends" storyline, as well as "The Way Home" storyline. He also played a significant role in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, Part 2: The Indigo Disk, where he composed and arranged all the Terarium Biome themes, along with both of Terapagos' battle themes.
- Hiromitsu Maeba's work was largely focused on composing music for cutscenes in the game. Notably, alongside Gō Ichinose and Toby Fox, he was one of the most involved with music relating to Area Zero in both "The Way Home" and The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, Part 2: The Indigo Disk.
- Teruo Taniguchi's work was entirely centered around the "☆ Starfall Street ☆" storyline, except for the three remixes of Johto themes he composed for the Rotom Phone's photography function.
- Hitomi Satō was responsible for themes related to Nemona, as well as several other themes from the "Victory Road" storyline. She also composed and arranged the majority of jingles in the game. In The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, Part 1: The Teal Mask, she notably composed "Perrin's Theme," which, as mentioned in her liner notes from the Pokémon Legends: Arceus Super Music Collection, pays homage to her own "Settlement" theme from that game. In The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, Part 2: The Indigo Disk, she played a significant role in composing and arranging several themes that related to the Blueberry Academy League Club.
- Toby Fox primarily provided motifs for the other composers to expand upon, including those for "South Province," "Academy," and "Area Zero." In addition to this, he arranged three battle themes: "Tera Raid Battle," "Battle! (Zero Lab)," and "The Academy Ace Tournament."
- Junichi Masuda composed new themes for the early game, including "Home," "Cabo Poco," "Poco Path," "Battle! (Wild Pokémon)," and "Battle! (Trainer)." All of these were arranged by Minako Adachi. All other instances of Masuda being credited as a composer are for themes that are remixes of older works of his.
- Haruka Soeda, who joined the sound team for The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, has a less defined role compared to the other composers, as there is no immediate connection between the four themes they contributed to.
- Rei Murayama, also a member of the sound team for The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero and one of the directors for this DLC, did not arrange any themes. Rather, the credits suggest he assisted Gō Ichinose in developing the motif used in all themes related to Terapagos.
