Effect
When the Pokémon successfully lands an attack on the target, it has a chance of increasing the user's Defense by one stat rank. The skill can range from Offensive Defense 1 to Offensive Defense 9, with higher numbered skills resulting in a higher chance of increasing the user's Defense. Offensive Defense 9 will always increase the user's Defense. The skill applies to the Pokémon's usual attack moves, including buddy moves, but not sync moves or max moves.
