This is a list of events in Pokémon GO, which include any temporary bonuses and increased wild spawns that occur for each event.

Community Day

Main article: Community Day

Community Days are monthly, six-hour events that feature a specific Pokémon. During this time, the featured Pokémon will have drastically increased spawn rates, and players will receive bonuses for certain in-game actions.

Pokémon Spotlight Hour

Main article: Pokémon Spotlight Hour

Pokémon Spotlight Hours are weekly, one-hour events that occur every Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., local time. It features a specific Pokémon that will be spawning en masse during that hour. At the same time, a bonus will also be active for that hour, which may involve bonus Candy, Stardust, or XP for various in-game tasks.

Global events

Global events are in-game thematic events that run for a limited time. Most of these events are free of charge and are activated directly by Niantic and do not require any kind of registration.
