Ground Guard (Japanese: じめんガード Ground Guard) is a skill in Pokémon Masters EX.

Effect

Ground Guard reduces the damage taken from Ground-type moves, including buddy moves, by 30%. It does not reduce damage from sync moves or max moves.

All sync pairs that have access to Ground Guard without the use of Lucky Cookies are formed with Pokémon that can have a Ground-type immunity in the core series games, either because they are Flying-type or have the Ability Levitate.
