Flavor text Generation VI Powers up each Pokémon's Fairy-type moves. Generation VII Powers up each Pokémon's Fairy-type moves. Generation VIII Powers up each Pokémon's Fairy-type moves. Generation IX Powers up the Fairy-type moves of all Pokémon on the field. Champions Boosts the power of the Fairy-type moves of all Pokémon on the field by 33%.

Fairy Aura (Japanese: フェアリーオーラ Fairy Aura) is an Ability introduced in Generation VI. Prior to Generation IX, it was the signature Ability of Xerneas.

Effect

In battle

Fairy Aura boosts the power of Fairy-type attacks by approximately 33% (more precisely, by a factor of 5448/4096) for all Pokémon on the field. This effect will not stack if more than one Pokémon on the field has this Ability. Aura Break causes it to instead divide the power of Fairy-type attacks by 4/3, resulting in a 25% reduction in damage.

Outside of battle

Fairy Aura has no effect outside of battle.
