Card text
Sudden Transformation
いきなりへんげ
This Pokémon can use the attacks of any Basic Pokémon in your discard pile, except for Pokémon with a Rule Box
(Pokémon V, Pokémon-GX, etc. have Rule Boxes).
(You still need the necessary Energy to use each attack.)
Pokédex data
It can reconstitute its entire cellular structure to change into what it sees, but it returns to normal when it relaxes.
全身の 細胞を 組み替えて 見たもの そっくりに 変身するが 力が 抜けると もとにもどる。
Release information
This card was included in the Pokémon GO expansion with artwork by Misa Tsutsui, first released in the Japanese subset of the same name. Ditto cards from Pokémon GO booster packs in all languages were always completely obscured with a sticker that resembled another card from the expansion (either Parallel Holofoil Spinarak, Parallel Holofoil Numel, or Parallel Holofoil Bidoof). These stickers feature a Ditto image in place of a regulation mark, indicating they are not legal for use in official events. This feature is a reference to how Ditto can be encountered in the Pokémon GO game—it will disguise itself as one of several possible species and will revert to its true guise if successfully captured.
This card was reprinted with different artwork by KIYOTAKA OSHIYAMA, alongside a Galarian Gallery holo rare card with artwork by Miki Tanaka, in the Japanese VSTAR Universe subset. An oversized unnumbered S-P Promotional version of the Galarian Gallery holo rare print was available in the Japanese Latias Jumbo Card Collection from December 16, 2022. The two VSTAR Universe prints were later included in the special Crown Zenith expansion outside Asia.

Trivia
The Pokémon GO print of this card was featured in the Illust Story, No Matter What You Look Like.
Origin
The Pokémon GO printing of this card has a purple background, in reference to the purple background used for the sequence where a caught Pokémon is revealed to be a Ditto. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Sword.
