A drop event (Japanese: ドロップイベントdrop event) is a type of limited-time event in Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket. It allows players to earn rewards, including promotional packs, by completing event battles.
Event battles are a type of solo battle in Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket; these are available for a limited time and require event stamina in order to participate. Each battle costs 1 event stamina to take part in, although this is only consumed if the battle is won. Players can recover 1 event stamina either by waiting 12 hours or by using an Event Hourglass or 1 Poké gold; up to 5 event stamina can normally be held at any one time, though Event Hourglasses or Poké gold can be used to recover up to 8 event stamina at once.
