Shinedust

Shinedust (Japanese: ひかりのすな Light Sand) is a currency in Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket. Shinedust is used for buying Flairs and trading rare cards with other players.
Acquisition
Shinedust is mainly acquired by obtaining duplicates of cards the player already owns, regardless of the method of obtaining the card:
- Opening packs
- Wonder Pick
- Spending Pack points
- Trading
- Buying in the Shop
The amount of Shinedust the player receives for getting a duplicate is based on the card's rarity. After Shinedust became the currency used for trading cards, the amount of Shinedust received from duplicate cards was increased.
Shinedust can also be acquired as a reward for completing Missions, Solo Battles, Random Battle Battle tasks and Achievements. Additionaly, the player receives 50 Shinedust per Level Up.
During Wonder pick events players can exchange Event Shop Tickets for Shinedust in the Shop. During the first six Wonder pick events players could only exchange Event Shop Tickets 20 times. Starting with Wonder Pick Event (Solgaleo), the number of exchanges available was changed to unlimited. Because Wonder Pick Event Shop Tickets were retired with the Wonder Pick Event (Mega Sceptile), the Shinedust exchanges are no longer available.
| Item | Price | Exchanges (Meowth - Lucario) |
Exchanges (Solgaleo - Mega Sceptile) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 20 | Unlimited |
When Trade Tokens became discontinued, players could exchange them for Shinedust in the Shop until July 30, 2026. One Trade Token was worth 10 Shinedust.
