Volt Absorb (Japanese: ちくでん Electricity Storage) is an Ability introduced in Generation III. Five Pokémon have this Ability, all of which are Template:Type2.
Effect
In battle
Volt Absorb heals one quarter of the user's maximum HP when hit by an Template:Type2 move. Therefore, the user is immune to Electric-type moves. However, in Generation III, Thunder Wave is unaffected by Volt Absorb.
Outside of battle
Volt Absorb has no effect outside of battle.
