Card attack origins!

Hey! Concerning origins for cards. The Ability or Attack names need to be the exact same for it to get mentioned in the Origin section for cards. Anything that is "This move is similar to..." "...does the same thing as..." "...sounds like..." is speculation, and is being removed from origin sections. Speculation borderlines opinion, which has no place in an encyclopedia. The instances like Secret Wonders Dugtrio are just instances that haven't been removed yet. the only time it is notable is when the English name is exact, when the Japanese name is exact, or when the Japanese name contains a a slightly modified version of the attack (Like Confusion and Super Confusion.) Just no one has formally gone through all 7000 or so cards and removed the speculation. It is mostly removing it when something else on the page is being changed, or keeping it from being added. ^Maverick_Nate 05:06, 5 March 2013 (UTC)

I think you need the system to autoconfirm you. This means about 10 edits, and a few weeks about four days on the site. By the way, you don't need to put your username at the end of your four tildes; it already puts that in your signature.MF231 23:19, 15 April 2013 (UTC)

You actually need more than ten edits to be able to make the userspace. Only admins know the specific amount of edits needed, and they never tell anybody, mainly to avoid users editing the mainspace to have that amount of edits and ditch it for the userspace.--ForceFire 01:12, 16 April 2013 (UTC)

Whoops. Must have been some edit conflict or caching issue. All I was trying to do was link to Team Rocket Grunt (Trainer class) in the file's description. MF231 00:58, 10 May 2013 (UTC)
