Plans for the Future
Well, I am very interested in Pokémon ROM Hacking, its something I love to pass my time with. My current hack is called the "Kanjo Quest" -- It's based from a Fanfic I wrote wayyyy back when in 8th grade =p, but ive hence taken it off my FanFiction.net page, as I found it filled with spelling errors, mistakes, plot holes, etc. I hope to put it back up when it is remastered.
If you know how to Hex Edit and can help in any way, please message me!! =]
Kanjo Quest Gym Leaders
Autumn
File:SpriteErika.png
Specialty: Grass
Autumn is a kind woman who specializes in the Grass-type. Although she dislikes battling, she will never turn down a challenge. If the challenger can beat her, Autumn will hand the Rose Badge over, not to mention a TM for Giga Drain.
In The "Kanjo Quest" Story
Autumn is actually portrayed almost as she is in the games: cool, calm and collected. She is a very quiet, but confident person. She initally turned down Amy's challenge, because she had to pick berries for the Pokémon taking refuge in her Gym.
Amy took this time to prove Autumn she was ready to challenge her: she challenge Autumn to a berry-picking contest, if Amy had more berries by 2 minutes, Autumn would challenge her, but if Autumn had more, Amy would leave.
- Autumn's gym is a large greenhouse with plentiful berry trees.
Although Autumn did end up having two more berries, she hid three of them in her pocket so Amy would challenge her anyway.

Rocky
File:SpriteHyouta.png
Specialty: Rock
Rocky is quite the looker and one of the most popular Gym Leaders in the Kanjo Region. He has a very serious personality, and never has a battle "for fun".
If he is defeated, he hands over a Marrow Badge and a TM for Rock Tomb.
In The "Kanjo Quest" Story
Rocky has his own Fan Club (similar to Gary's Cheerleaders), and they constantly cheer him in battle, causing distractions for his opponents. Carmen and Amy both swoon over him when they first see him, boiling some frustration for Mitch.
Their Gym Battle was also the first time any of Amy's Pokémon evolved. After deflecting a bunch of Rocky's Cubone's Bone Clubs, Amy's Wynaut evolved into a very disobedient Wobbuffet.

Elektra
File:RSE Beauty.png
Specialty: Electric
Elektra's nickname is "The Shocking Vixen". She is also a world-renowned Coordinator-turned Leader. She has a reputation for battles so intense, she's blown numerous power fuses in her Gym. She'll fork over the Blitz Badge for a win, along with the TM for Thunderbolt.
In The "Kanjo Quest" Story
Elektra is portrayed more as a ditzy blonde in the story. But, as in the game too, she has had a power outage from the last battle, which happened to be from no other than Amy's rival, Kenny.
When Elektra battled Amy for her badge, they used 3 Pokémon, two in a double battle, and one for a one-on-one battle. This was Amy's first major double battle.

Damien
File:FL Lance.png
Specialty: Ghost
Damien is a character, and by far my favorite Gym Leader. He is an eccentric Boogeyman who gets his kicks out of scaring the living bajeesus out of his challengers. This may be a reason he barely gets a Gym Challenge. For putting this spookster in his place, Damien will award you with the Omen Badge, and the TM for Shadow Ball.
In The "Kanjo Quest" Story
Amy first meets Damien when exploring an abandoned ship by Mist Valley. He challenged her on the ship in an unofficial battle, but Amy's Flaaffy was too frightened to battle his Haunter, so Damien was declared the winner.
In their Gym Battle, Amy was determined to get Flaaffy over her fear of Ghosts, and by supporting it, Flaaffy was able to defeat his Dusclops (which had evolved from Damien's Duskull earlier on), giving Amy her Omen Badge.

Wendy
File:DP Cool Trainer F.png
Specialty: Flying
Wendy is a very intelligent Trainer who often has a tendancy to overanalyze situations. She fights her battles at the peak of the Aerocrest Skyscraper instead of at her Gym. For blowing her away, she'll give you the Cloud Badge and the TM for Aerial Ace.
In The "Kanjo Quest" Story
After Amy stops Team Hyper from stealing Articuno from Aerocrest Mountain, Wendy deems Amy worthy of a Gym Battle. After a rough battle with Wendy's Pidgeotto, it evolved into a Pidgeot. However, Amy's Delcatty was able to defeat it with Assist.

Garet & Jenna
File:E Sidney.png File:SpriteFlannery.png
Specialty: Fire
Garet and Jenna are one hot pair of siblings. Their strategy is simple: Burn you up before you can say "That's Hot". For flaming these two hotheads, you'll be handed the Torch Badge, along with the TM for Fire Blast.
- Garet & Jenna's names are based off two characters from the "Golden Sun" games.
In The "Kanjo Quest" Story
Garet and Jenna reside in Lavaspring City, a city built around a seemingly active volcano.
Their gym is built inside the Volcano, much similar to Blaine.
When Amy challenges them, even with Carmen's help, she is defeated. So, she sets off to catch a Water-type. After capturing her Marill, she is again defeated by them, but doesn't give up. After harsh double-battle training from Mitch, Amy and Carmen are able to pull together and defeat the hot siblings, earning Amy her badge.

General Steel
File:GalaxyBossAkagi.png
Specialty: Steel
General Steel started training the Steel-type a long time ago, when a wandering Magneton protected him in a war a long time. It is rumored he also served alongside Lt. Surge of Kanto. If there's one thing he doesn't like, it's rowdy teenagers. For defeating this Iron-tough military master, you'll be awarded with the Ironclad Badge, and his TM for Iron Tail.
In The "Kanjo Quest" Story
Amy met General Steel in Silver City, and didn't donate money to his charity for veterans. Because of this, he refused her Gym Challenge when she found out he was the Gym Leader. She pleaded and pleaded, and he would accept on one condition: if she caught a mysterious Pokémon that has been lurking around town.
After successfully capturing the Bronzor, Amy gave it to General Steel, who seemed quite pleased. However, this was only a test to see if she was driven enough to challenge him, because Bronzor turned out to be his! Frustrated, Amy challenged him and won the Ironclad Badge.

Ariel
File:DP Swimmer F.png
Specialty: Water
Ariel is the Gym Leader of the beautiful and exotic Azul Islands. When the player arrives, Team Hyper is causing trouble, trying to steal a rare Lapras, nicknamed "Kuni". After she and the player team up and defeat Team Hyper, she retreats to her gym and awaits the player's challenge. For defeating her, you obtain the Tide Badge and Ariel's TM for Water Pulse.
In The "Kanjo Quest" Story
Ariel is Carmen's older sister, much like Misty and the Sensation Sisters, but their relationship isn't as bitter. Carmen originally left the Azul Islands with Mitch when he traveled through Kanjo, when they realized their chemistry together. Carmen was always striving to be better than Ariel, so she took on Coordinating.
Amy meets Ariel the same way in the story as the player does in the game, but she is already aware that Ariel is the Gym Leader, not left in suspense. When Amy battles Ariel, she finds out the hard way why Ariel is considered the toughest Water-type trainer around. By a "breath" of pure luck, Amy defeated Milotic, and earned her badge, giving her access to the Kanjo Regional Tournament.

Carrie
File:SpriteSabrina.png
Specialty: Psychic
From the time Carrie was born, she had realized her unnatural powers (telekenesis and telepathy) and was able to control them at an astonishing rate...but she never had any friends, making her a cold and ruthless person. She laughs at pitiful trainers, and often devises strategies by mind reading...how can someone of her likes be defeated?? That is up to you.
- Her name is derrived from Steven King's "Carrie".
In The "Kanjo Quest" Story
Carrie was Amy's first opponent after the Preliminaries in a 3-on-3 match. She battled Amy in the Space Arena, where all the battling Pokémon were under a slight gravity field, making them hussle harder. Carrie tried to psych Amy out by reading her mind sometimes during the fight, and openly announcing Amy's strategies.
Carrie put up an excellent fight, but her Alakazam lost to Amy's Delcatty in the final match, giving Amy the win.
