Release information

This card was released in the English Base Set, first originating from the Japanese Expansion Pack. This card was included in the Trainer Deck B given to prototype Pokémon Leagues before the Base Set's market release. This print has a red border and "Trainer Deck B" printed on the back, like the rest of the cards in the deck. In Japan, this card was reprinted with artwork by Miyuki Ogino, one of five winning entries of the 64 Mario Stadium Pokémon Snap Best Photo Contest held in Spring 1999. This print has a camera graphic where an expansion symbol normally would be. This print is extremely rare and the exact number in existence is unknown. The Base Set print was reprinted in the English Base Set 2 and Legendary Collection expansions.

Trivia

Unlike the majority of the cards released through the Spring 1999 Pokémon Snap contests, the "Snap" print does feature the additional text on the bottom right.

Origin

Bubble and Withdraw are both moves in the Pokémon games that Squirtle can learn. This card's English Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Blue, though it is slightly reworded. The Japanese entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green.
