Sheer Cold (Japanese: ぜったいれいど Absolute Zero) is an Template:Type2 one-hit KO move introduced in Generation III. It will not work if the target's level is higher than the user.

Trivia
- Sheer Cold is the only one-hit-KO move not introduced in Generation I.
- Sheer Cold is also the only OHKO move that can affect all types. Horn Drill and Guillotine are ineffective against Ghost-types, and Fissure is ineffective against Flying-types and Pokémon with Levitate.
- Sheer Cold is the only Special one-hit-KO move.
