Rick (Japanese: クルシマ Kurushima) is the Club Master of the Science Club (Japanese: サイエンスクラブ Science Club). He plays using the Wonders of Science Deck (Japanese: かがくのちからだデッキ Power of Science Deck) and gives away the Science Medal to challengers who defeat him. In Pokémon Card GB2: Here Comes Team GR!, he uses the ダークサイエンスデッキ Dark Science Deck.

His club is a laboratory where he works on strange experiments.

Rick is busy with experiments when the player first tries to duel him. Rick will only accept challenges after Joseph is defeated.

Defeating him will earn the main player a Science Medal and two Mystery Booster packs.

In Pokémon Card GB2: Here Comes Team GR!

Dark Science Deck

Main article: Dark Science Deck (TCG)

Dark Science Deck (Japanese: ダークサイエンスデッキ) is the only deck played by Rick. He will battle a 6 prize card battle when challenged. Defeating Rick gets the player two Island of Fossil booster packs. After freeing Mitch from the GR Fighting Fort, Rick gets his hands on some Sky Flying Pokémon booster packs and will give out one of each type of pack for a victory over him.

Rick is captured as part of the game's initial events and can be found on GR Island in the first room of the GR Grass Fort. Once freed, he gives the player a Hungry Snorlax promo card and returns to his club. From here on, he can be battled anytime.
