Pickpocket (Ability)

(Japanese: わるいてぐせ Bad Habit) is an ability introduced in Generation V. Five Pokémon have this ability.

Effect

In battle

Whenever the user of Bad Habit makes contact with an opponent or an opponent makes contact with the user, it steals the opponents held item. It will fail if the user is holding an item or if either Pokémon is behind a Substitute.

Outside of battle

Bad Habit has no effect outside of battle.
