Will Pickpocket work when the Pokémon is holding a Fokus Sash but consuming it while this attack? --- Pokémon _Questions? -- 20:05, 12 March 2012 (UTC)

WHile I was browsing around Smogon, I decided to check the Pickpocket page, and from what it said there it does sound like the Sash will be consumed before Pickpocket checks for an item on the user. However, since I don't exactly have easy access to Dream World Pokemon, I can't test it myself, so I can't say for sure. Diachronos (talk) 17:31, 12 June 2012 (UTC)

Surprised that Purrloin/Liepard cannot have this ability. Really fitting, as how Purrloin does pickpocket you until you friend her in Pokepark 2. PokeyZNG 18:35, 14 April 2012 (UTC)

Recoil damage

It activates in pokémon X after the attacking pokemon faints due to recoil damage, should this be mentioned on the page? PinkShinyRose (talk) 01:28, 23 September 2016 (UTC)

Pickpocket confirmed to activate after Focus Sash is consumed

Pickpocket on Zacian/Zamazenta

Can a Pokémon with Pickpocket steal a Rusted Sword or a Rusted Shield from Zacian/Zamazenta? The article does not say anything about it. --Marcodpat (talk) 06:25, 18 May 2022 (UTC)

The Rusted Sword/Shield are always immune to in-battle manipulation when held by Zacian/Zamazenta respectively. I've added it to the article. Landfish7 06:42, 18 May 2022 (UTC)
