Heavy Metal (Japanese: ヘヴィメタル Heavy Metal) is an Ability introduced in Generation V. All Pokémon that have this Ability are Steel types.

Effect

In battle

The user's weight is doubled. This may increase the base power of the user's Heavy Slam and Heat Crash, increase the damage taken from the opponent's Low Kick and Grass Knot, and lower the damage taken from the opponent's Heavy Slam and Heat Crash.

Outside of battle

Heavy Metal has no effect outside of battle.
