Trivia

Origin

Bronzong is based off of a dōtaku.

Name origin

Its English name is a combination of "bronze" and "dong," as in the sound that a bell makes. Its Japanese name is a portmanteau of the words dōtaku (銅鐸), meaning bronze bell, and dondon (どんどん), the sound it produces.
