Blaze Kick (Japanese: ブレイズキック Blaze Kick) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation III, where it was Blaziken's signature move.

Effect

Blaze Kick deals damage and has an increased critical hit ratio. It has a 10% chance of burning the target.

  • Although Blaze Kick debuted in Generation III, it first appeared in the Johto saga of the anime.
  • Of the Generation III starter Pokémon signature moves, Blaze Kick is the only move that can only be learned by the final evolution of the starter, and has the smallest expanded learnset in Generation IV.
