Alvin

Alvin (Japanese: アルバ Alva) is a character of the day who appeared in Battling With a Clean Slate!. He is the final character of the day to appear in Pokémon the Series: XY.

Alvin was first seen arriving at the Lumiose Gym, asking for a Gym battle against Clembot. He informed the group that he had lost to the robot earlier and now wanted to have a rematch against it. Because the battlefield wasn't ready for use yet, Clemont asked Alvin to come back the next day.

As requested, Alvin came back the following day, finally getting to have the rematch he had wanted, and also working as Clembot's first challenger after its rebuilding. During the battle, Alvin told Clembot how its words from their previous battle, about every Pokémon's potential and a Trainer's duty of bringing out that potential, had inspired him to train hard after his loss. The battle eventually ended in Alvin's victory, earning him the Voltage Badge.

He reappeared in a flashback in Till We Compete Again!.
